Today we drove through Idaho and partially through Montana....what a large state. We decided to hit up another hotel. Love from the Seal's. Good night! XO

Wednesday July 20th 2016

Today we packed up and started our long trek home. Before leaving the Island we stopped at Cathedral Grove. A short walking trail lined with Cedars and Douglas Firs anywhere from 300 to 800 years old. Amazing!

After the trail we headed for the small town of Coombs. They are know for their farmers market with goats on the roof and huge ice cream cones.

We made the three o'clock ferry and headed for Seattle where we spent the night.😴 

Tuesday July 19th 2016

What an awesome day!! We went to the local surf shop rented some gear and headed to the beach. A lot of fun was had by all. By the end of the day everyone got up on their boards and rode some waves🌊. We have some videos to show you later.

Monday July 18th 2016

This morning rained and rained, so we hopped into the car and headed for Tofino. This small surfing town was booming. We walked around, shopped and went out for a nice lunch. As we headed back to Ucluelet, the weather started to clear up. We stopped at the beach for a walk and did a quick trail where we saw some of the oldest Cedars in Ucluelet.

Sunday July 17th 2016

Happy Anniversary to us😍

This morning we went to the Aquarium to check out the local marine life. Very cool.

By late afternoon the weather started to clear and we headed to Long Beach.

We ended our day with a delicious meal of freshly caught Halibut and smoked salmon.

Saturday July 16th 2016

This morning we woke up to some clouds so we headed into town and did a little hike up to the Lighthouse. The views were amazing!

Walking the ocean floor at low tide we came across a starfish.

We found "locks of love" on our hike.

By noon it had cleared up and we headed to the beach😊

Friday July 15th 20016

We got up early this morning and hit the road. Within a few hours we were at the BC Ferry.

Once there, we needed to find a place to camp. This was a little tough, but we managed to make it over to the West side of the Island. We found a little site at Ucluelet campsite in the town of Ucluelet.  The site was nothing to write home about but what a great little town...

Thursday July 14th 20016

We left Golden early this morning and headed to the Kicking Horse River for some White Water Rafting. What an adventure. The kids had a blast although Keaton was hoping for a few more rapids. Near the end of the course we stopped and climbed a water fall and finished our trip with a group BBQ lunch. All in all it was a blast and Keaton is ready to pack on a few more lbs so he can continue on to the lower canyon rafting with the big dogs. Our destination tonight is a small town outside of Kamloops. We are going to treat ourselves to a hotel 😊 and get up early and head to the Island tomorrow. Good night all. With Love😘
